Unstable
Shay has never needed anyone. She can hear every thought, feel every lie, and read every hidden motive before a single word is spoken. Keeping people at arm's length isn't a choice—it's survival. Then she makes the mistake of slipping into a vampire's mind. And he slips back.Silas is two thousand years old, dangerously powerful, and utterly fascinated by the small, unusual woman who can block him out completely—and who, against all reason, is not afraid of him. As the two form an unlikely friendship that neither can quite explain, something older and more dangerous than either of them begins to stir in the shadows.Shay doesn't know what she is. Silas isn't sure he wants to find out. And the world they are carefully building together is more fragile—and more necessary—than either of them will admit. For fans of slow-burn supernatural romance, fierce heroines, and vampires who actually have something to lose, Unstable is the beginning of something unexpected.
